High Point GPS

Pricing

Per vehicle, per month. Hardware and installation included.

We quote every fleet individually, so there is no price list on this page. What does not change is the shape of the deal, and that is worth knowing before you talk to anyone.

Hardware and installation are included, not financed

The tracking device is part of the monthly rate, and so is putting it in the vehicle. There is no separate hardware invoice to approve, no capital request for the devices themselves, no per-unit purchase to depreciate, and no installation bill — including for the vehicles that need a technician rather than a plug.

It also means the device is ours to stand behind. If one fails, replacing it is a support question rather than a warranty claim against a piece of equipment you bought.

Why the term is 36 months

The hardware and the installation are included because the term is long enough to carry them. That is the trade, stated plainly: a three-year commitment is what lets the devices and the labour come at no separate cost, and a shorter term would mean paying for them up front instead.

The other half of that trade is that the term is a commitment. Ending it early means paying out the contract — there is no partial exit, and you should price the decision on three years rather than on the first month.

What actually sets your number

  • How many vehicles

The per-vehicle rate is not flat across fleet sizes. A fleet of eight and a fleet of three hundred are quoted differently.

  • Tracking only, or cameras too

A tracker is the base. AI dash cameras, asset trackers and IOX accessories each add hardware and data, and each is priced on top of it.

  • Whether you need compliance

ELD, DVIR and IFTA reporting are a different requirement from knowing where a vehicle is, and fleets that are not subject to them should not be quoted for them.

  • What the install involves

A plug-and-play install into a standard diagnostic port needs no technician at all. Heavy trucks, older vehicles and hardwired setups do, and that work is scheduled around your operating hours — but it is included either way, so it does not change what you pay.

Why there is no price list here

Because a number on a page would be wrong for most of the fleets that read it. The honest version is that the rate depends on the four things above, and publishing a figure that only applies to one fleet shape would cost you more time than it saves — you would find out it did not apply on the first call.

What we can tell you before that call is everything on this page: how it is billed, how long the term runs, and what is included. If a vendor will not tell you that much without a meeting, that is worth noticing.

Common questions

How does High Point GPS charge for fleet tracking?

Per vehicle, per month, on a 36-month term. The tracking hardware is included in that rate at no extra cost.

Do I have to buy the GPS devices?

No. The hardware is included in the monthly per-vehicle rate. There is no separate purchase of the devices and nothing to depreciate.

Why do you not publish prices?

The per-vehicle rate depends on fleet size, whether you need cameras or compliance features alongside tracking, and what the installs involve. A single published figure would be wrong for most fleets that read it, so we quote each one.

What is the contract length?

36 months. The term is what allows the hardware to be included rather than purchased separately.

Is installation included?

Yes, at no cost. Most vehicles are plug-and-play and need no technician — the device goes into the existing diagnostic port. Heavy trucks, older vehicles and hardwired setups need professional installation, and that is included too.

What happens if we end the contract early?

The contract is paid out. The hardware and the installation are included rather than invoiced, and the 36-month term is what covers them, so ending early settles the term rather than releasing it.
