Heavy Duty Vehicle Installation

For heavy duty vehicles equipped with 9 pin OBDII port, the 9 pin OBD II T-harness is very easy to install and can be used to place the GO device behind the dash and frees up the OBDII port.

Universal 9-pin (OBD II) Straight Extension harness:

For older vehicles equipped with 6 pin OBDII port, Geotab also offers 6 pin harness. Installation steps are the same as 9 pin extension harness.

After the device is plugged in, it may take a short drive (5 minutes, above 15km/h) for the GPS to register it’s location properly.

After this short drive, all of the lights should stay on until you turn off the vehicle.
