How Much Does High Point GPS Cost? Hardware, Plans and Quotes Explained

What High Point GPS costs depends on your fleet's quote, because we price each fleet on its own vehicles instead of publishing a list. The quote depends on the hardware each vehicle needs, the plan length, the add-ons you choose, installation and the number of vehicles. Two fleets of the same size can get different quotes when one needs only tracking and the other needs cameras and ELD. That is why the better question is what the price is made of.

The structure is the same for every fleet: hardware per vehicle, a plan, optional add-on hardware, and installation. Our pricing page explains how we quote, and the sections below take each part in turn so you can read any quote clearly.

Hardware is the GPS tracking device, one per vehicle, and on a High Point GPS 3-year contract the equipment is free. Add-on hardware is anything on the IOX port: a dash camera, driver ID, temperature sensors, a satellite module. Installation depends on the vehicle. The GO10 connects at the OBD-II (or 9-pin) port through a T-harness, with no wires cut, a 3-wire kit is used where there is no port, and a camera needs a cable run from the tracking device to the windshield. A fleet can install itself, but we always recommend a professional installer.

The plan decides what the High Point GPS platform shows you. Plans step up from basic GPS tracking through engine data and driver behaviour to the full platform with ELD and the more demanding features. Camera video is a separate line. Plans can be custom, and bundles put tracking and cameras on the same plan.

Fleet size moves it, since a larger fleet is quoted on more vehicles and usually a wider mix of them. Plan length matters too: our plans run on 3-year contracts, which is what lets the equipment come free. The plan features are the biggest lever. A fleet that needs only location costs less than one that needs ELD, and adding video adds camera hardware and a video plan. Each add-on brings its own line. Installation changes with cameras and with vehicles that need a 3-wire kit.

The tracker model you pick doesn't move it much. The GPS tracking device and GPS Tracking Device Plus differ more in features than in price, and the platform is the same on both. The plan is the decision that counts.
