Keyless Monitor: The Command Centre for a Shared Vehicle Pool
Keyless lets a driver's phone open a shared vehicle; Keyless Monitor is what the pool manager looks at. One screen per pool showing each vehicle's readiness — fuel or charge, location, locked or not, defects reported — with the remote commands to lock, unlock and immobilize. Here's how a municipal or corporate pool runs on it.

The Pool Manager's Problem
A shared pool — twenty municipal cars, a utility's spare vans, a rental branch's fleet — fails in small ways all day: a car returned with no fuel, a van left unlocked in the lot, a vehicle with a flat that the last driver noticed and nobody recorded, a booking for a unit that is still out. Keyless handles access; someone still has to know the state of every vehicle before the next booking. Keyless Monitor is that view.
What It Shows and Does
Per vehicle: location, fuel level or state of charge, whether it is locked, whether the engine is running, the last and next booking, and any defect the last driver reported in the app. Vehicles that are not ready — low fuel, unlocked, defect open, overdue return — are flagged. From the same screen the manager sends commands: lock a vehicle left open, unlock for a driver whose phone died, immobilize a vehicle that should not be moving, end a booking that has run over. Everything is logged with who did it and when.
What It Changes
Bookings stop failing because the vehicle was not ready. The lot is secure without a walk-around. Defects reach the shop the day they are reported rather than when the next driver refuses the car. And the utilization data — which vehicles are booked, which sit — is what the fleet uses to decide it needs fifteen pool cars, not twenty.
Setup
Keyless hardware in the vehicles, the Keyless platform connected to MyGeotab, and Keyless Monitor configured per pool with the readiness thresholds the fleet sets. High Point GPS deploys Keyless with Monitor for municipal, corporate and rental pools in Quebec, Ontario and the northeastern US, and integrates the booking system through the API.
